This Wednesday morning was spent hanging out of second story windows, cleaning them inside and out. The afternoon consisted of moving mulch from a large pile in the driveway, up a hill and spreading it around. I would have preferred to be in the park next to the Art Institute, having an extended picnic lunch with my old work buddies. Oh well. I'm in the middle of writing a post for New Critics on a most excellent book. It's a three for one, one volume with three novels, entitled Berlin Noir. I'll link when it's up.
Here's an extra photo, because I think the colors are wild. The tulips are from a flower shop around the corner from my old apartment.
